Oongka

Oongka stood with Kliff through the period of fragile peace in Pailune before the Black Bears attacked. Official story material places him among the three comrades — alongside Yann and Naira — most closely tied to Kliff's past and to the fall of the Greymanes. When the faction is scattered, Oongka is one of the survivors Kliff sets out to find.

Gamescom 2025 coverage reported that Kliff and Oongka reunite on a battlefield in a region called Calphade, where Oongka has been fighting alongside a Marquis Stefan Lanford against rebel forces and Black Bear troops. The specifics of how that reunion unfolds haven't been detailed in pre-release material, but it suggests Oongka has been active in the intervening time rather than waiting to be rescued.

Voice actor Stewart Scudamore described Oongka as gruff and laconic, but said the silence reflects restraint and care rather than cold indifference. He chooses his words carefully. Epic's cast feature referred to him as a nomadic, fiercely loyal Greymane — which tracks with how he appears in the pre-release footage. He's not a talker. He's a fighter who shows up.

Oongka is one of the two additional playable characters outside of Kliff. Official promotional material states that players can freely explore Pywel as Oongka outside of the main story, which suggests his playability extends beyond set-piece sections. Pre-release coverage has consistently described him as a heavier, more direct fighter than Kliff — built around strength and endurance rather than technique-driven combo chains.
